Ok guys, today we'll learn how to open a blog.
I guess by now, ya'll would have been hearing of th word 'blog'. Well a blog is simply a personal website or a web page where one records opinions, links to other sites etc on a regular basis.
different platform offer free blogs, but the most popular ones are the wordpress and blogger. with the later being almost ahead of the former.
How to open a blog.
1. open a google account
2. go to www.blogger.com and sign up
3.click on new blog
4. feel in your blog name and proposed adress note: you will be registering with a subdomain, meaning you have your blog adress in the format myblogname.blogspot.com.
With time you can purchase a domain name myblogname.com but for a start, you'll need to do with the subdomain.
5. choose your template, blogger offers a lot of templates you can customise your blog to your taste.
6. You set to start writing your thoughts, tips, etc .
How to make money from your blog
To make money from your blog, you'll need a little bit of traffic on a regular basis. traffic meaning visitors. people need to visit your blog regularly so as to increase your chances of making money of your blog.
How do you make money?
Ads
Ads are short form for Advertisments. If you have noticed, on some blogs and websites, there are some shiny things you see strategically placed scattered across the website, with advertisements from different products and services, beckoning on you to click on them.
when you begin to receive traffic on your blog, you can then apply to signup with any of these Ads companies eg google adsense, bidvertiser, ad dynamo etc.
